My dutch friend Roel VanVelzen has a new single out – “The Blessed Days”! Co-written by VanVelzen, Simon Gitsels and yours truly and co-produced with Simon. Radio premiére today on 5 big radio stations in Holland – exciting! “The Blessed Days” is also going to be the title song of dutch rom com “Soof”, featuring some of Holland best known movie actors – out Dec 2. Look out also for the video clip… I’ll post it here as soon as it’s on youtube! It’s… Lekker! 🙂

One of my favourite songsmiths has passed away. Listened to “Transformer” and “Berlin” all morning and remembered why Lou Reed has been such a huge inspiration to me and so many others…

Their brand new album “Unholy ground” was released Oct 18, and it contains the song “Afraid of the midnight”, co-written with Samu Haber and Sharon Vaughn. Doing great in Germany, currently #2 in the German Itunes album chart!   😎
